Generally all my horses are made on safety stands as they are much safer for children's toes and won't cause damage to furniture as they don't slide around on the floor as much as horses on rockers.

The most popular wood is American Cherry which has a superb natural grain and although being a fairly expensive wood has proved by far the most admired.

Also of course I make the traditional dapple finish which is normally given an antiqued finish.
